Poipu Beach - what a place to visit. 

Poipu Beach has consistently been ranked one of America's top family beaches.  If you are visiting Kauai and taking the family along, then you need to make Poipu Beach Kauai your top choice.  Why?...  Lots of reasons but here is just a few.

1 - It provides beach fun for all ages - With protected areas that little ones can enjoy (even very young ones) and mom and dad don't have to worry, to open areas that provide great snorkeling for young kids and adults.

2 - There are lifeguards - need I say more...

3 - There are public restrooms with showers so you can get relief when you need it and wash off the sand and salt when your done playing.

4 - There is a great park area with picnic tables, a playground and plenty of space.

5 - Its on the "Sunny Side" of Kauai.

6 - There are great restaurants within walking distance - from sandwiches to steak.

7 - In the winter months you can stand (or sit) at the beach and be mesmerized by the dancing of the whales.

Overall, Poipu Beach is fantastic.  You can't help but have a great time while there.
