While enjoying your stay on romantic Kauai, eating out at some of the delectable nearby restaurants is a must and the Beach House is one of the top places to go.
Located on Kauai's south shore, the Beach House Restaurant is well known among island locals as one of the most romantic and special fine dining establishments on the island, in fact it has won Hololulu Magazines Hale Aina Award for "Best Kauai Restaurant" for the last seven years as well as the Travel Networks "One of the Most Romantic Restaurants in Hawaii".
As you eat a delightful meal, you can watch sun the dip into the ocean as you sit less than a coconut's throw away from the crashing white tipped waves. Romance will alight the air as you dine while watching the twighlight sky light up, in shades of glorious red, yellow and orange hues.
For dinner you can enjoy meals that include signature cuisine such as the Ahi Taster, Mahimahi lightly crusted with macadamia nuts, and for dessert the Molten Chocolate Desire with vanilla bean ice cream. Other fare on the savory menu includes Chinese-style Roasted Duck, Lemongrass & Kaffir Lime-crusted Sea Scallops, Filet Mignon, or the Mint Coriander Marinated Lamb Rack. The Beach House also offers a special "Keiki" menu for children.
Chef Todd Barrett is the creator of the exceptional cuisine served at the Beach House which along with its award winning food also offers a diverse wine list.
Weddings at the Beach House are a common theme as the multi-level restaurant offers several unique dining areas, as well as outdoor areas that can be used for weddings or private parties of any occasion.
When you visit the restaurant it is recommended that you ask for a waterfront table as the restaurant faces due west making the sunsets absolutely spectacular. It is also highly recommended that you make reservations – the restaurant seats 240, but is extremely popular and seats can be hard to find.
To get to the restaurant from the Kauai Regency Condominiums simply head west on Poipu Road towards Kipuka St. (1.5 miles) Turn left at Lawai Road. The Beach House Restaurant will be oceanside.
