Kauai Travel Tips

A trip to Kauai can be so many things. Adventure, romance, family memories or just relaxing in the unique tropical beauty the island offers. No matter what your reason, there are items that we will want to bring with you as well as some budgetary considerations.

A Kauai vacation should be relaxing and therapeutic. You don't want to have to spend time and money on buying what you could have brought from home or worrying about money. A proper plan and forward thinking will make this vacation like no other. Enjoy a trip free from everyday stress and worry. Come and see how Kauai can heal your soul.

Kauai is very informal: You'll get by with shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers at most attractions and restaurants; a casual sundress or a polo shirt and khakis is fine even in the most expensive places. Don't forget a long-sleeved cover-up (to throw on at the beach when you've had enough sun for the day), rubber water shoes or flip-flops, and hiking shoes and several pairs of good socks if you plan to do any hiking.

We highly recommend staying in a Kauai vacation rental or condo for your lodging instead of a hotel room. Many times the condo rentals are less expensive and you get all the benefits of a full kitchen and washer / dryer.
